The Reviews Are...Needed!

Hey everyone!

It’s been a whirlwind past month since the book came out and I had the official launch at The Uncanny Experience! I was so nervous heading into it, but Chad Anderson from Graymalkin Lane had some great questions for me and my first ever launch was, I believe, a success!

I zipped on this suit for the launch and then immediately changed. Gotta live my brand when I can! Photo by the incredible Sara Century, who made my nervous, sweaty self look good.

I’m hoping some of you reading this have gotten a chance to crack into the book and take a journey alongside me through Alpha Flight’s first volume. This is where I need to ask a favor- please go to the Barnes & Noble page for the book and leave a review. Even if you bought a copy directly from me, you can leave a review on the site. Reviews will help other people find the book and decide if it is for them or not. I promise it will take only a couple minutes, and it would mean so much to me!

So what’s up next? In a week, I fly out to Flame Con in New York City and my panel “Queerness, Sexuality, and Otherness in Alpha Flight” is one of the panels being promoted by the Con. What an honor! The panelists I’ll be moderating are Chad, D’Manda Martini, Mr. Scott Free, and my husband (and podcast co-host!) Phillip. I’m also going to be a guest for HomoSuperior’s X-Gaymes and there’s a podcast meet and greet that day, too! Phew, that’s a busy day! I’m also looking forward to finally meeting, in person, so many people- including Greg Wright, who wrote the book’s foreword for me. I’ll be shoving Silver Sable and Alpha Flight stuff at him to sign; I’m so excited to connect with several folks in person that I’ve only chatted with via Zoom.

In podcast appearance news, you can hear me on several episodes of Graymalkin Lane (both in the regular and Patreon feeds) over the next couple months. I will also be chatting with the fellas at HomoSuperior. And you should definitely catch me on the X-Wife Podcast episode covering the first year of the current X-Men title, where I chat about Wyre.

If you are in NYC next week, make sure to say hi!
